Oh damn. They'll be cheap as hell then. I'll stock up on a few.

I just got back from stocking up at my local NAPA (WA State). They had a big sign on the front window saying 40% off all filters. Turns out the 70% off is a bit misleading. It is 70% off the inflated Retail prices that they NEVER charge anybody. So it was 40% off the normal prices. Still a good deal.

Just another example of the timeless old saying, "If it sounds too good to be true - it is".

I have good people here, like them. They just said, "we didn't sign up for that". No problem. They're here for me for the little stuff. I like my Napa.

The dana 30 RIGHT seal waz $9+ tax ($10), bought two in case i muck one, then I will return the other.

So, did you buy any filters? If so, what was the price?

I bought a total of 7 filters. Oil, fuel, air for several of my vehicles.
Example price from receipt: price = $12.32 ; Net =$3.70.
The guy behind the counter a was puzzled about the 70% off as the prices as his computer shows the normal selling price not the inflated price ($12.32). Same on the NAPA web site. It only shows normal the normal selling prices not the inflated ones. The inflated price only shows on the receipt.
Like I said, still a good deal just misleading or at best confusing.

Just visited the local Napa. 3 oil filters, 2 air filters, and the expensive VW TDI fuel filter all for 52 bucks out the door. The VW filter was 25 alone. 3.74 for the oil filters.
