Also I know this is going to sound stupid but seems like the engine runs way hotter now. Not the temp gauge but just OMG seems so freaking HOT under the hood. Almost so hot I couldn't get the hood up...

Any ideas there ???

Brake rotors are warped. Have the front brakes reworked.

Man guys if that's all it is I would be thrilled lol. I can not begin to tell you guys how much I appreciate all of your help. I've been a basket case ever since my dad's stroke. The weird thing is the jeep doesn't have the vibration in park. Only when I throw it in drive ! It will happen very lightly in neutral but nowhere near as bad ! Oh and doesn't do it in reverse either. Just in drive when it's wanting to pull. Would you still say rotors ?

Different story now.

Since the trans was replaced I would suspect the trans mount bolts or bell housing bolts being loose/missing.

Your first problem description sounds like brakes.

Ok thanks man will check that. I don't really know how to describe it (technical term) . Feels as if the gears are grinding in the trans or something. Like the gear teeth or something is grinding/vibrating. Again though really bad in drive ,but won't do it in reverse at all, a little in neutral. You can feel it and kinda hear it as well.

Oh and reason I am so stressing this is because I know well feel that there has already been some rigging going on. 1st is they had some trouble after install with the speedo not working and couldn't figure it out and had to remove everything to get to the speed sensor to figure that out. Also there are 2 sensors it looks like that go in the side of the trans ,well they have zip ties on them. They said that Jasper didn't send the clips or something. I guess where the sensor connectors connect into the trans didn't have the little lock things you push. Does that make sense lol... So they zip tied them.

Well at the shop again! They are saying they don't see anything wrong. There was no vibration before I changed the transmission! But now only when in drive there's a bad vibration, (DOES NOT DO IT IN REVERSE ) really only in drive when at a red light with foot on brake. The whole Jeep vibrates !

Does it subside when your foot is off the brake?

Vacuum issue?

Looking from the rear, it's where the exhaust pipe goes over the trans/transfer case cross member.

Thanks everyone. They finally felt the vibration after messing with it. They still seem confused which churns my stomach lol. It's got to stay in shop over the weekend until Jasper gets back on Monday. They have ordered a new trans pan where this one is leaking, so I guess they will fix the pan and vibration some time next week. I hate to be (that customer )but after $3,000 it needs to be flawless IMO. Really appreciate you guy's! If I could get you all a beer I would even though I don't drink lol. Thanks.

Default more questions!

More questions guy's! First I would really like to say thanks for all the help/advice so far. So I got the Jeep back finally and turns out the vibration was a motor mount that went bad on the driver side. So transmission "seems" to be doing fine. Problem is the back passenger wheel is still vibrating/hopping a little (just feels different than normal ). The wheel started vibrating at around 40-50 mph the day my transmission went out. I noticed the same thing again this morning on the way to work and just now when I got off on the way home. Any ideas ??? I checked air pressure ! I looked for any flaws or anything and nothing seems to be wrong.

Change the tire. It was damaged somehow in the past, like someone hit a curb or giant chuck hole.

Happened to my POS 2000 T&C when the wife hit a curb hard. The pukes at Belle tire rotated the tires and it ended up on the right rear. It was okay until that tire heated up from driving for awhile then it would vibrate. Belle tire said they couldn't duplicate it - several times. I got tired of the runaround and told the to replace the tire. They did. It fixed it. Road hazard insurance paid for it.
