Need advice on this
Doing some noggin poking on the Jeep and notice this. I don't remember seeing that angle. Is this normal or something that needs immediate attention?

the boot on the joint is split so you need to replace the boot, or the joint, but its not extreme and it won't stay straight because when you turn the wheel, that moves

Can you grab it and rotate it back to a normal position?
I haven't jumped into the steering subject too much, but I should probably start since I have a 4.5" lift going on soon...
For some reason I feel like I have seen something like this before, although not my XJ. Maybe one of my old trucks with the pitman arm and draglink not having a square mate...

Good idea to replace the track bar also. I replaced all the linkage on my '96 last fall. Went with all Moog brand OEM type replacement parts except I used the tie rod for a jeep ZJ (V8). Direct replacement and is solid rather than hollow like ones the XJ comes with. Doesn't take much to tweak it.
