my ac controler wont change where the air blows from can someone tell me whats wrong

Its broken. haha

But with my limit experience the switch maybe broken (mechanicly) or maybe some kind of short. but dont quote me on it

What year is your Jeep? Mine is a 99 and does the same thing. I believe the newer Cherokees are vacuume actuated vents, so if yours is a later model, you probably have a vacuume issue.

check for vacuum leaks on the rear connections to your climate control and under the hood. your's is almost definitely a vacuum switching control. good luck
