it was right after he had "fixed" it for the crank sensor. havent taken it to him after that.

Check there are threads linking you to TPS adjustmen procedures. You can't just slap a new TPS on without adjusting it. Won't work that way. It has to be adjusted properly. Takes ten minutes to do.

Scroll down to TPS. This is a sensor diagnostics page for Renix engines. You just need a digital multimeter and simple hand tools to diagnose most everything on a Renix engine.
