Default Need help finding a part

UPDATE: the part is called a "Oil Pan Support Bracket"

I picked up a 99 XJ Sport 4x4 4.0L automatic for my son and I to wrench on that needed a rear main seal replacement. I had a hard time getting the pan off (it had never been pulled in almost 20 years) and had to break the Oil Pan/Transmission Dust cover on the rear end of the pan. See link below for part# 52118078AB

https://www.moparpartsoverstock.com/...2118078AB.html

Does anyone know where I can pick one up? Every place on the web says the part is no longer available. I checked with Autozone and O'Reilly and they both were no help. I plan on calling some local dealers tomorrow but wanted to see if anything here had an other ideas.

Looking that up on ebay, thats not the right part. Its for early 80s-early 90s GM passenger cars.

Jdwag, there is one of what youre after on ebay. It needs cleaned up as its used, but still useable. Have you thought about making your own? Fab work always comes in handy when working on a Jeep, or anything else for that matter. That cover is pretty basic. The little lip at the top and the bead may prove troublesome, but doable. I needed an inner 1/4 panel reinforcement that nobody reproduced, for my 97. Bought some sheetemetal and made my own. No bead roller and no metal brake. Just metal shears, a bench vice and some angle iron as a brake, body hammers/dollies, and a couple pieces of steel ground down to get the shapes i needed. Its tedious work, but very rewarding.

Thanks for the help everyone.
This is the part I am trying to replace (not my pic, just using for clarity). It's bolts up using the 2 bolts at the rear of the oil pan.

That might have been the one I found last night, but it says it's not compatible for my 99. The part# should be 52118078AB....useless you think this will also fit a 99 XJ

This part is not compatible with 1999 Jeep Cherokee Sport Sport Utility 4-Door 4.0L 242Cu. In. l6 GAS OHV Naturally Aspirated.

I'm confused. The image of the part you say you need is not the same as the part # you say you need.

At any rate, I honestly have no other answer as to why the ebay linked part will not fit a '99 AW4 equipped XJ. I'm not aware of anything special or unique to that MY only that would prohibit proper fit of that part.

Thanks for the assist, I don't know why it would not fit either unless the part changed between 1999 and 2000. The part# you listed seems to fit only the following models.Jeep Cherokee 2.5L Power Tech I-4 Cyl., 5-Speed Manual 1999Jeep Cherokee 4.0L POWER TECH I-6, 4SPD. You're welcome.

Do you have a '99 w/ the AW4 tranny and is the part you're looking for the oil pan support bracket? You could call a dealer and ask them for the p/n to remove any doubt before buying.

Sorry for the late reply to this, life got in the way. I did confirm with the dealer that mopar part#53010511AA is the correct one to use for a 1999 XJ
