Default need help with power window

I've got a 2001 cherokee. It has 86k miles right now, but only 71k miles when I first got it, and the driver side power window has never worked. All the other ones do though, so I figured it was just the switch.

I replaced the switch with one that was supposedly good that I got off ebay, and everything works but the driver window still. I'm terrible at troubleshooting, not a very good mechanic, and don't have much money so I'd prefer to fix this myself without paying a mechanic. Any ideas on what I should check next?

With as low as miles as it has, I wouldn't expect the window motor to be bad yet. I've had other vehicles with similar problems, and it was always the switch, which I was able to fix by splicing into the wiring and jerry rigging it where I could still roll down the window. Since this one has one big switch for all the power windows though, I don't really want to go hacking it up, especially if it might not fix it.

Is there anything other than the window motor that this could be? Thanks.

Yep... a dozen things.

Buy a test light and learn how to use it. It will save money that you would have spent buying parts that don't fix it.

If you can read a map, you can read a wiring diagram.
