Need some direction
Im kinda stumped!I've been having idling issues, and also had a code for tps circuit voltage to high,so I assumed bad tps sensor so got a mopar one and as soon as I installed it had a high idle at 3k rpm...so I got a code reader and cleared the codes, started and back to normal.so on the way home from work my rpms started to fluctuate and the trans would skip back and forth between gears, when stopped at a light the idle would be at a constant 1100 with the jeep wamting to lurch forward.(figured I'd mention that I've adjusted the TV cable a couple times aswell)finally got home went to put it park and the idle shot up to 3k..now there's no way that 2 tps went bad within a week of eachother...one was a auto zone brand, and the one thats in now acting up is a mopar tps that I installed yesterday!so please if anyone has any advice,or thoughts on what I can look for i would greatly appreciate it

Sounds like the new one is binding up and not letting the throttle go back to closed. Did you test the old sensor first? It could just be a bad ground wire to the sensor, in which case you can add one.
