Default Needing to order a complete rebuild kit.

I have a 96 cherokee and want to rebuild the motor anybody have any suggestions on where to order from and also good catalytic converter and muffler suggestions?

Through the years I've always wavered between http://www.rockauto.com/ and going to Autozone. Will probably need to rebuild my '96 pretty soon, too if I want to depend on it and sell my 215,000 mile Kia.

years ago ,younger and energetic, i weighed the pros and cons of rebuilding, all the details,real cost of all the stuff. i bought a long block,much easier and cheaper,less time. today it is no question, older and lazy!!

Your cylinders should be bored and honed. Shouldn't you find a rebuilder and coordinate your plans with them. The pistons and rings should be selected to fit the newly bored and honed cylinders.

reground crank and bearings?, valve job?, all those gaskets!

Special tool for cam bearings.
