Oh, thanks guys, for brightening up my day. What a silly argument. Yes, these are called nerf bars. And yes, that link is a pic of nerf bars for ATV's. The same name can cross over... "Fender?? That's a body panel on a truck, it's not a guitar!" All in good humor, guys...

My dad made me put them on all me lifted 150's when I was younger... I broke every set, maybe for a light weekend wheeler, but if you do anykind of somewhat serious offroad dont bother. Just my .02

No, they are too weak.

I've opted not to get em. Need to fix some other stuff first anyway.

Man if they are reasonable in price...just get them anyway! I picked up a grill guard and nerf/running boards for 150! All chrome! It looks sexy on mine! Tell me what ya think.

Personally I dont see the point of them on a stock or close to it XJ.

I have sliders on mine but dont use them as steps and its not at all stock height.

I wouldnt run em. They mount so low theyd hang up on tree limbs and rocks for me going to the hunting club.
