That is one sweet lookin bumper you got there! That is exactly what I would like with the stronger frame mount points and a 2" reciever in the center!
Great looking bumper!

So sweet!
I really like the design of these! You have some mad skills! I would be really interested in a winch version of these. Let me know a price! If you need a 91 cherokee to use for a template let me know!

you need to start a new thread. it's easy...go to the tech forum, click "start thread", come up with a title, and whatever info you want in the message, then post.

I have these parts cut but i think i burnt up my drill. Was able to get one mount plate cut and drilled. One of the comments i had on another forum was grill protection because of how tight it fits. As far as the d-rings on the front i think i'm going to call the metal shop in town and get a price on shackle mounts. These will run through the 2x4 tubing and get welded 100% front and back. I think these should work, here's a picture of the new mount. Thanks again for your comments and concerns.
that bracket is nice, but not enough.
you do NOT want to butt-weld that. it needs to be welded through the bumper, or have the bumper built off of it.
hopefully you did that on the other bumper...if you just but-welded it, that's nowhere near acceptably strong enough to use as a recovery point.

Okay, tomorrow i'm cutting new brackets that will go through the tubing. I don't want to have any problem with this bumper. Also will have the option of "d-rings" like shown in the frist pic, 2" receiver or 3/4" flat stock welded to the new brackets for 3/4" shackles. I'm also tacking a piece on the bottom to cover the cross member to see what it looks like.
