i filled up my truck twice and im oly getting like 200-220 miles to a tank and im driving 70-80 on the freeway
i have 31x10.5 inch tires the max psi is 50 i have them on 40psi
i have a flowmaster muffler stock cat drop in K&N filter and i cut part of the bottom of the box for more air i cleaned my throttle and ran sea foam
i also changed my oil with mobile 1 10/30 and put new spark plugs in and the gap is 35
so why am i getting such crappy mpg??

mmm seafoam. Its good stuff. I get around 200 to the tank in mine. I have 33's but my mileage is around 1.5 miles slow for every 1 mile so if my math is correct for every 6 or so miles I go I can add 1 more mile to the odometer. So if I have 200 on it when I fill up I would divide that by 6, I would then get 33.3 which means I should be gaining 33 miles at 200, for the end result of 233 total miles to the tank. Sounds like your in the ball park if not better!
This is on a 75K HO motor with an airaid intake for the only engine mod. Plus dont waist your money on "better" spark plugs. Use NGK or Autolite. If you want the best plugs then go to iridium and not waist your money on all the other again "better" plugs. Those are the best and last a long time, but cost around 10-15 a plug If memory serves.

You running those wires from Performance Dist. and that coil they have?
I say no. Increasing the gap allows the coil to build up a bit more of a charge before firing off to the plug. It will shorten the life of a coil not designed to do it. Plus, they're using Bosch plugs... These things run like raped apes on Champions. If you want to pump a gap that high, get a HP cap & rotor, new coil, new wires, and I'd say a MSD box. And be ready to eat plugs and coils...
