New front axle, 2 Q's: Alignment, ABS
1.) I installed a new front axle, but I kept my original steering components (tie rod, track bar, drag link, pitman arm, etc...) so in theory I wouldn't need to do an alignment, right? If I do need to, how do I do one?
2.) My new axle has some electrical wires connecting to a magnet on the inside of the rotor. I'm assuming this is for ABS, but my jeep doesn't have ABS (and my old axle didn't have these connections), so I can just disconnect those and run fine with my normal brake set up, right?
These might be stupid questions, but when dealing with brakes and steering I feel like I could never be too careful.
Thanks,
Dan

The alignment should be ok, but it mat be worth getting checked, and those are ABS sensors on the new axle, go ahead and do what you want with them, won't hurt anything in the braking system.
