New Fuel Pump, but no fuel to the injector line
Hi everyone,
After installing a new fuel pump which I Can confirm runs, there is no fuel coming out of the schrader valve and the jeep just cranks, no start. The jeep will run on starting fluid, but then die. No check engine light on and I need some help - any and all advice please and thank you.

you are going to have to find out where the blockage is
Its common on an XJ for the fuel tank to get full of scum...how was the mesh filter on the old pump looking ?
assuming it isnt blocked up inside the tank, disconnect the hose the fuel filter, place in bucket..turn key for 3 secs, any fuel ?
work along the system thus
At any time you do things like this, ideally have an assistant, a fire extinguisher, hose, and or buckets of water. Fuel pump works at 50psi

Plugged fuel filter??? Is the pump wired correctly, plus and minus wires not swapped? You hear the pump run? Remove the inline filter near the tank and see if fuel flows when pump is on?

To the OP.
Not picking on you, it's a common problem, but if you fill out your profile at least to the point of what model year your vehicle is it helps.
In this case it helps as 97+ don't have the external fuel filter.... unfortunately.
