Just picked up a 1991 Jeep Cherokee limited Needs a bit of work but the first order of business is the dash lights do not work, I was wondering if there is a fuse for this and if there isn't where should i start the gauges all work thought. This is my first time owning a jeep and a little help along the way will be appreciated. Thank you and i will post pictures soon.

 

under the dash there is a fuse panel. There is a 5 amp fuse on the far right side.

 

Oh and also i found a good deal on a pair of seats but there for a 96 and newer cherokee sport. my driver side seat back is broken i think, it leans really bad will these mount up like mine do or are they differnt. They are for a 2dr mine is a 4dr

Did you fix your dash lighting?

If not, you could look at 4x4modding.com or on eBay, there are two color and backlit gauge kits that you can install and when you done, you have a better looking instrument cluster than before. They are also available in daylight whiteface if you want.

 

mabye these will help - theyre from a 1995-98..couple of years out, but might still be useful.. certain things dont change that much.

 

I got the dash fixed last night it was just a blown fuse. Do you guys know if a set of 1996 seats from a 2dr will fit a 91 4dr. these seats are a steal if they will work.

 

yup and seats from a 2dr will fold forward
