Hey Everyone. Im Matt, not currently a Jeep owner, however Ive been looking at Jeep Cherokee(XJ)'s for years and always admired them. Ive been living here in Denver for three years, and I think that it is time I try and get one. The idea of tearing through the streets during winter in a Jeep sounds so great!

Im looking at getting a 90's model. I cant afford too much, and looking at craigslist. It seems like Jeeps truly keep their value. I cant find a cheap jeep unless its because the engine or tranny are shot. Im thinking mid 90's. Are these XJ's pretty good? How do these do in snow, ice...with the 4x4 going? Any feedback is much appreciated. Thanks.

welcome to the forum, mines 1991 and it was the 1st year for the 8.25 rear axel and the high output 4.0 so really anythin after 91 would be a gr8 start, but all the cherokees are gr8 tho,but when u go buy it ask ask ask everything about it,cause theres alot of options for the cherokees, and they are amazin offraod, ive made it thruogh more trails than a lifted chevy on 33's,and i got bald tires haha
