Haven't been here in a while, some changes! No idea where my 2K+ posts have gone, but anyway, this '98 is my first "newer" XJ, a bit different than my '90, '92', '94 and '95. Runs good down the road, rough idle at ~750 where it should be, IIRC. New Champion plugs. Code P1899 showing, NSS doesn't seem to be causing any starting issues (been there, done that with the '94). Is it a matter of taking it out and cleaning it like on the '94? Having done some searching here, it seems that code can also be related to other matters. So, throwing this out to the newer XJ experts (also assume my '94 FSM is useless for this model year?) for advice as to where to start. Thanks!
