Default New Radiator

I got a Renix sealed type of cooling system, and am converting to the later open type. My old radiator is aluminum, with plastic side tanks (a Chrysler replacement from near 20 years ago) My new radiator is all copper/brass, from Summit. It is twice as thick (twice the rows)!!! it does not however have a port for the fan thermoswitch, but I will be changing my thermostat house to the late type that has a port for the late type fan thermoswitch. Anyway I am stoked that the new radiator has more rows of cooling tubes. I am also upping the size of my ATF cooled to one that is 12 x 11 inches, verses the 6 x 11 inch, which are plate type. I have a steering fluid cooler too that is going back in, (the old stock atf cooler, two pass tube and fin type)

Anyway very happy to have double the cooling tubes in the new radiator, this will help me run cooler I hope when rock crawling and on steep mountain roads in hot weather. I hope my tranny stays cooler now too, I have an ATF gage to monitor that.

Hope to have the install finished in a couple days
