So my starter crapped out today i bought a new one at orilleys after work. Only store that had one that wont take almost a week to get in store. Its an ultima branded one and i paid 200 frickin dollars for the bastard so happy as i can be i threw it in there only to have it first grinding a little upon initial startup. Ok maybe it needed to be broken in a little so i tried again and again and it did get alittle better but i still dont like the sounds its making. So i shimmed it a little and it got just a tad better but it still isnt to my liking. This is the results. Im gonna return it tomorrow and get another one and see what happens. It has like a high pitched whine to it. But it doesnt sound like any grinding that i know of now.
