sweet. You'll love that head unit. I have a JVC Arsenal in mine (older model KD-AR480), and i love it.
you should also find a rear soundbar if you don't have one...improves things greatly: (those are 6 1/2" speakers BTW)

I have kicker 6.5s in front kicker 5.25s in the rear soundbar. Kfxhellraiser's sub box with kicker comp 10 and kicker 400 watt amp. Its the best overall system I've had yet and I love it.

It'll sound pretty good! You should check out sonicelectronix.com
They're a lot cheaper than crutchfield. I got my system from there and got a good deal on all the stuff.
I'm running an Alpine IDA-X305S Head Unit
4 Kenwood 5 1/4s: 2 in front doors, 2 in speaker bar I got out of another XJ at the junk yard for only $2.
MTX Thunder 282 2 channel Amp: Mounted inside the cutout on the right cargo interior trim panel.
2 Rockford Fosgate P1S412's currently in a brand new "thunder" ported enclosure that I got for free because it wouldnt fit in a friend's trunk.

I also have Kicker inline hi/low pass frequency filters, and 2 Dual illuminating tweeters that blink to the beat of the music.
It's a good system but it could be better. I plan on getting a couple of add ons from Alpine for the Head unit to improve the SQ.
I also want to upgrade my speakers to component systems with midbass drivers and tweeters.

I want to get one but all I can find are the ones for the wranglers.
Do I get em and cut em or are they direct fit, no trim necessary?

I have the JVc head unit in my mustang and liked it, so i figure why not get one for the jeep aswell. I do have a sound bar But is the speaker size a 5.25 or 6.25?

sound bars are different in XJs, and you can find them occasionally in the junkyard.
Stock speaker size is 5.25", but as you see in the second picture, 6.5" speakers fit perfectly with minor hole trimming.

5.25 but I fit over 6 inch speakers very easily in mine, just the stock covers wouldn't go back on.. good thing the speakers came with their own.
