I dont know if your opposed to getting cables online, but i get a lot of my audio stuff off ebay when it comes to cables. you can get it by the foot or in pre-cut lengths for a good deal.

I just looked quick and $2.97 a foot for some O2 free solid copper 0guage.

I dont know how well the price stacks up to supply houses but just thought i would throw it out there.

Just go your route. Its going to be easier than traveling and looking for those shops. Tractor Supply should have everything you need. I love that store and im not even a country boy.

How would 2 or 4 gauge marine battery cable work? I know it's tinned copper wire..

That would work just fine. I would go 2 gauge. Not to big and better that 4.

good cause I can get 20ft of red and 20ft of black 2 gauge online cheaper then I can 10 ft of each locally..lol

At this point anything is better then what I have..I may not need the 20 ft but eh I'll have extra for later use I suppose..
