Default No 4wd indicators lights

Hello everyone I searched the forum before asking and found a few people with my problem but no real awnsers.

My issue is ever since i bought my jeep the 4wd indicators havent work i thought maybe a bulb but never really cared to worry, well now its bugging me.

So i removed the dash trim and replace all the indicator bulbs and also all the cluster light bulbs while i was in there but still no luck.

The transfercase works fine and go into 4hi and 4low great.

I'm told it might be a indicator switch of some kind and that it could be cleaned in order for it to work but cant seem to find where this switch is and also how to clean it.

Does anybody have a pic of this switch and maybe how to clean it.

I'm not sure what year the disconnect axle was discontinued. If it has the disco axle the thing that illuminates the light is on the axle and will have 2 wires.... if either one is open or in the case of my wrangler completely pulled out of the switch the dash light doesn't work.

Yeah mine has the normal dana 30 front axle no discconects.

I finally found a good pick of what it looks like so going to remove it tomorrow and clean the switch it looks like its just a ball bearing type plunger switch like in my blazer so if so they always get gunked up.
