I answered this somewhere else. Look by your fuse box and behind it are wires that feed into your firewall. Look towards the right of those wires and you will see two purple wires with a black stripe that feed into a terminal together. Make sure those are pushed in all the way!!!

Check that before and after trying the fix JRentaria09 suggested and let us know what you find.

Ok, I couldn't find an 88 schematic, but the 92 is probably pretty close, if not exact.
The turn signals and the hazard/stop lights are powered by two different circuits and separate fuses (Fuse 8 and fuse 13). This tells me that if neither your turn signals or hazard/stop lights are working. That the problem is the power feed before the fuse panel.
Check both fuses with a test light and see if there is power. Fuse 8, the turn signal fuse, should have power with the key on. Fuse 13 should be hot all the time.
The wires that JRentaria09 referred to are likely the power feeds for the fuse panel. Did you locate this wire?
It does seem odd though that one is powered with the key, and one is hot all the time and both are not working. Seems like it would be one or the other.

Ok update. Went in there with a tester fuse 8 and 13 both have power at the fuse. The brake switch has no power to it. i got some of my signals to work but only if I pulled out the **** for the flashers. The bulbs for the rear signal on the driver side is getting no power to it at all. but the front one will flash on that side and the rear on the passenger side. The flashers still dont work on there own. and neither do the brake lights.

What about power at the pink/black wire of the flasher can for the hazards?

Power runs from the stop/hazard fuse and then splits into two... One wire goes to the brake light switch and one goes to the hazard flasher can. I would bet that wherever these two wires make the split, is where the problem is. It might be a junction block or something. The wire color should be pink with a black stripe if it's the same as a 92. Otherwise, it will be the same color as one of the wires at the brake light switch.

I have a very similar problem, i havnt found any fixes for it yet but maybe my problems an input can help find an answer haha. So as allsierra123 my tail lights dont work right, my running lights dont work out back at all but brake lights work sometimes and are very dim, my turn signals work only when my foots off the brake as soon as i put on the brake they stop flashing, same goes for the hazards, and all lights are very dim in the rear. the weird part is all the lights work in the front, head light high an lows work good, running lights work and blinkers work when foots off the brake, no front lights are dim at all and dash lights all work fine. I just got this jeep a month ago so havnt got a chance to look into it much yet.
