Default no buS Does not =Dead P.C.M. HELP

My 2001 Sport failed to start Dec. 26 . The symptoms were as follows :the starter motor engaged and turned the engine normally. There was no fuel pressure . The engine wouldn't run even with starter fluid. The odometer started reading "no buS" (this is opposed to take the the bus ) and I noticed the gas gauge did not move in the key in "run " position. Lastly the scan tool could not find the P.C.M..So I concluded that I had a dead P.C.M. . The Jeep ran just fine the day before .so what else could it be? I checked every fuse and did not find any blown. So I replaced the computer out of future earnings. Zip zero nothing engine spins away but no run and no buS . So out of fustration and panic I found a shop that said they could find the issue for only $85 dollars. Well yesterday these "wizards " were telling me they were dumbfounded .I was not happy ,I was dumbfounded for free . I may have to point them in the right direction ,so I humbly ask for help. And the answer to a question. Is the engine wiring diagram in the Haynes Repair Manual for 1991 and later good for the 2001? I thank you in advance. 4.0 liter automatic trans .

I have read about this before and from what i remember the GENERAL solution that fixed the no BUS was cleaning the connectors that go to the dash from behind, and making sure they are all tight, the other thing i remember is something dealing with the cps and wiring...checking it and the wiring, also check around that grounds are in good condition

Hopefully that may be of some use, or that someone that has experienced this will chime in soon

if you need a wiring diagram for something PM me with an email

I wouldnt trust an old Haynes manual. Especially if it says "1991" on teh cover and you have a 2001...
Ill look for the wiring diagrams in that file I sent you...

Go to Pg 64 in the file "01XJee.pdf" and you will get the Power distribution "table of contents"
The stuff for the PCM is located:
"Powertrain Control Module . . . . . . . . . . . . 8Wa-10-20, 24, 32"
