Default No heat from heater?

Sort of a minor surprise -- no heat on a chilly highway day. Temp guage reads just fine. Guessing my heater core (not rad) is blocked and needs reverse flush. Neve happened before. Anyone got opinion why?
Not a serious problem I think. I hope.

Thanks. Appreciate the supportive reply.
(Just for the hell of it, I took the Jeep today to a NAPA concession garage for an estimate because of local busy issues and no spare time--the guy said he'd never heard of a heater core needing a reverse flush but okay.)
And I know for sure, that's the problem.
