Long story short,I now have a new addition to the family. So what if needs a little attention, dont we all?

I hate Renix's too! It hardly ever breaks down, it works every time I get into it, and I have nothing to do.....I should get a Chrysler K car, so I can freaking work on something!! Yep, they are complete POS's....mine has 195,000 miles on it, and needs nothing....what a hunk of crap!! LOL!!

Bit the connection between the Dodge Intrepid and Renix is this:
Dodge Intrepid was the successor to the Dodge Monoco, which debuted as the Eagle Premiere in 1988 (still an AMC). AMC had an extensive relationship with Renault as everyone knows. What wasn't commonly known was that the Eagle Premiere/Dodge Monoco was basically the Renault 25 which employed the renix system in its initial years of production. I am not exactly sure though (didn't keep reading) that the 2.5 in the Eagle was the same used in the Cherokee.
Ilove how inter connected many parts of the auto industry is. Like the whole Cadillac Catera basically being the four door Pontiac GTO because of both having Holden roots.

Catera was an Opel Omega with Caddy badges slapped on. That same V platform was used by Holden with slight modifications for the Commodore/GTO, fortunately with a different engine. Perhaps the most unreliable car Cadillac ever sold besides the Cimarron. Cadillac dealers won't even work on the POS' anymore.

That was a common problem with the 2.7, including the class action suits for such.
