No oil leaks... what the??!!!
Did the oil filter adaptor o-ring replacement today. After reading the many threads about it I wondered how hard it would be. Turned out to be pretty easy (maybe I was lucky). I bought the o-ring kit from the local Jeep dealer ($6) and a T-60 1/2" drive (gear wrench brand) from Advance (again $6). The T-60 popped out of the 1/2" drive end with one tap of the hammer and drive punch. I removed the oil filter then, working from above, with a 1/2 box wrench and a 2' cheater bar I estimate I needed about 80 foot lbs of force to break the adaptor loose. Removed and cleaned the adaptor, r & r the o-rings (oiled) made sure the engine block was clean where the new o-ring will sit and reinstalled the adaptor. As long as the oil filter was off I thought I might as well change the oil. New oil, new filter.
Took little blackie to the coin wash and dropped $10 of quarters in the box and got busy underneath (80%) and engine bay (20%). Got home and parked on a clean area of the driveway. Six hours later not one drop of oil!
Thanks to the members here at CF for educating me. There was a time I was sure the oil leak was my rear main seal.

An I6 without an oil leak? That's unheard of. Better check and make sure there's actually oil in it. Lol, jk. Nice! That's awesome! Mine leaks a few drops here and there, but not too much.
