Default No rear running lights (tail lamps)

Got stopped by an officer tonight... apparently I have no tail lamps. I thougt the tail lamps were the same fuse as the headlights and such??? Anyway, EVERYTHING else works. I checked the bulbs and they are both good. Brake lights work...

Maybe a fuse? Which fuse controls the tail lamps? Any other ideas?

alot of time when people ask this the trailer wiring is the problem. Do you have trailer wiring? if so take it off and see if it works

yes i do have trailer wiring... just put it on last week actually. It's hardwired though, no plug-in connector.

so all I have to do is pull it off and the tailights work again?

Well I'm not saying they EVER worked... I may have just found out last night because I got stopped.

I'll pull the wiring and see though. Thanks for the tip.

Just to update in case someone searches this... BLOWN FUSE #15, 10amp. '95 Cherokee fuse panel.

Probably due to the trailer wiring.
