no spark, no fuel, no gauge cluster, no start
okay, yesterday i pressure washed my engine avoiding all the important things. I moved it into my driveway and turned it off. I went out about an hour later and it wouldnt start and the engine light came on. I checked the distributor and my plugs all good. I called my buddy with a codereader and plugged it in, it wouldnt connect. i was told on here and at the parts store that the most likely culprit was the CPS. bought and replaced the CPS, tried a different PCU (ECM), checked and cleaned all electrical connections, disconnected the battery to reset the CPU, no spark at the plugs, no fuel at the rail.
before this i could hear the fuel pump spool up when i turned the key but didnt start it, now i hear nothing.
anybody have any idea what's going on? i am willing to try ANYTHING you guys come up with.

You probably have water in some of the electrical connections. It may take a while for it to dry naturally. So something is shorted. A good example is your fuel pump relay/ASD relay. When you turn the key to on the PCM/ECM grounds the trigger circuit for these relays. The fuel pump then runs for a few seconds and you hear it run.
Since you hear nothing there is a fault there. If you have an air compressor blow dry the electrical connections. Some connections you may need to separate as water gets in and stays there with little air to evaporate it.
When I wash my engine I use aluminum foil to protect and seal the electrical items. These I clean by hand.

For a 99, you need 49 psi, plus or minus 5 psi. Fuel pressure is produced solely by the fuel pump assembly. If you are not in spec, replace the fuel pump assembly. My favorite is Bosch, second place goes to Carter. I will not install, nor will I recommend any Airtex products.
