No start help.

No start help.
Ok, so first, I am new to the form as a member. I just purchased my third xj. I drove it around the first day and everything seemed to be fine(except some TLC items i need to get around to). THEN! I went to start it and nothing.....it DOES turn over, but will not start.
Symptoms:
1. (Obviously) Wont start.
2. odometer says "no bus", gauge cluster does not work
3. ASD relay vibrates
4. my electric fan runs constantly ( I have found that depending on what postion its in if i spin it by hand it will either kick on or stay off??)
5. obd-II will not connect
I know through research that this could be a sensor that has shorted especially the Crankshaft positioning sensor. I was told that if i unplug each sensor that i will regain my cluster or it will throw a code if that sensor had a short. I have done this and nothing changes. I have tried replacing the PCM and that has changed nothing. I have checked all my grounds and my battery, All good. so the only thing i noticed was that my one connector to my pcm (C1-black) had some corrosion residue. I took the connector apart and some of the pins seemed really bad so i ordered a new one. when i went to go splice and solder my new plug to my old harness, I noticed that one of the wires on the old harness was black(the actual copper). I looked at the pinout diagram and this is the sensor return wire. I traced the wire (brown with yellow stripe, Connector C1 A04) and it splits into about 6 wires and goes to my sensors that run off 5V. so my question is, could this wire be toast and i have to run all new from my plug to all of my 5V sensors?? I have never had a wire turn black before. Any help or suggestions would be great, i know there are threads about the no start/no bus problem, but i have not found a solution to mine yet and maybe my problem could possibly help someone in the future diagnose something. if any more information is needed, please ask, i may have missed something i tried.
Side note. when i try to start the jeep my door locks start going crazy all of a sudden????
