No start, no pump prime

Model: Cherokee (XJ)
No start, no pump prime
My jeep randomly will not start. When this happenes the fuel pump will not prime. It will start sometime later. Sometimes an hour or a day later. The relay is new and working fine.

When asking for help on a forum, you'll get the best response if you provide enough information for intelligent troubleshooting. This means, at a minimum, the vehicle year and engine type. At this point, we don't even know if you have a Grand Cherokee (which is NOT a Cherokee), or a Cherokee, what year it is, or what engine.

Watch a few videos on how to check your fuel pressure at the engine rail with gauges. Free rental at most auto parts places.
