I have a 1997 Jeep XJ Auto with a 4.0

I recently rebuilt the engine. I thought I was following the break in correctly by doing it in park, reving up to 3500 RPM's for 30 minutes....... I know I screwed up. After the 30 minutes I put it in reverse backed up 10 feet and it died. The Muffler got so hot it melted the wire harness under the back seat. it also blew the f11 fuse in cab, trailer light fuse and reverse light fuse in PDC. I replaced all fuses, put in a new cab wire harness to replace the melted one. now I have no spark to coil. I swapped ASD relays, put in a mopar CPS, put in new coil and distributor pickup sensor. Still I have no spark. I have 5v current to all sensor and I put in a spare 1997 ECU just in case and still no spark at coil. I unplugged the o2 sensors in case they melted and are grounding out. Battery is good.


What should I check next? Is there a way to bypass the ECU and cause spark?
