Intermittent no start. It cranks strong, but engine does not turn.

Seems to happen when on a slight incline. Thus far, if I push the jeep for a few feet, it starts.

Suspecting Crankshaft poition sensor?

 

I would expect a wire has a fault only when it is nudged just wrong by being on a hill.

I had an ignition wire that would disconnect for a fraction of a second just when I pushed the gas pedal on the highway. Starting and lower power were fine. It was not so easy to track that down.

 

Possibly. Maybe the harness between the engine and the firewall. Make sure wiring isn't up against the exhaust manifold while your there. Also check that the bellhousing is still bolted up tight - seems to be a lot of that going around lately.
