but we have installed numerous 3.5" kits in the shop that a t-case drop woundnt fix the vibes. i tell every customer to factor in a SYE in their budget. if you dont need it then great you just saved yourself some $$ but if you do need one its already factored into what you will be spending...........

hmm, i wonder if it matters whether they have a d35 or 8.25.
the 8.25 would be a longer pinion therefor a shorter shaft. maybe those have the vibes.
justin's has the d35 with a 231.

ill prolly just factor the SYE in the budget but you think i could get away without a new cv driveshaft would it be hard on the universals?

ran 7inches of lift on my 98 just driving around town the vibes sucked yeah but mechanically all was sound. now i have an sye and driveshaft no more vibes, well except for when i shattered a u joint cap

also no need to run a tcase drop with a SYE

dont buy a tom woods shaft IMO ive had friends blow them up. I got mine from a local drive shaft shop and its beefy expensive yes but well worth it.

CV driveshaft = stock front driveshaft.

A "new" one? No. But the whole reason for going to a SYE is to Eliminate the Slip Yoke... thus, going to a CV.

My 99 has a re 3.4" lift that sits at 4.5" and i have vibes at 40-45. Nothing to bad, but they are there. A t-case drop helped but didnt solve anything. Every jeep is different though.
