Hey guys sorry im pretty new to everything but with a 5.5 inch lift would 33x 12.5 fit on this lift?

Yep they sure will. May need longer bumpstops, and or a small amount of trimming. If you don't wheel too hard you shouldn't even need trimming

I have a buddy, who has a 99' XJ. He runs 33x12.5's with 5.5 inches of lift. He did trim the fenders some.

I run 4.5 lift on my xj with 33/12.50... my front fenders are cut up but no trimming on rear

I run a 4.5 lift and have 31x10.50's and rub a little up front when wheeling hard on the trail, no trimming with stock flares, thinking about extending bump stops.

Im running 33x12.5 on 4.5" lift with cut front and rear. been wheeling it twice with this setup and flexed it out well...no rubbing issues.

ok well we bumped up the lift to 6.5 inches and my buddy swears to be that 33/12.50s will not fit on this without trimming, not due to the height but width, help? i really dont wanna trim at all

Leave the swaybar attached and it'll be fine.

To fix that, i got spidertrax wheel spacers, which work if you use them right (locktight) OR get wheels with more backspacing. Mine just barely rubbed on the control arms on sharp turns and that fixed it right up.

Wheel spacers do ad extra stress to wheel bearings so keep that in mind. IMO use them only if necessary.

You need extra long for your lower arm control. If not, the right front tire would look more out of the fenders.
