i checked the day i bought it... it was fine...
then i drove through a creek pretty much every day...

whe i said they had lackluster upkeep i was referring to the rig overall...
quit nit-picking, it bugs the outta me so any way ....


i called and auto wrecking place and they told me for the whole rear it was run me 3 and a half bills drum to drum...
go for it?
or keep lookin....
estimated time it takes to remove/replace axle?

anywhere between 100 and 200 should be good... there are so many out there that people are getting rid of because of upgrades or parting out older jeeps... just make sure you get the right gear ratio...

I found a Chrysler 8.25 for 120 last year at one of the pull it your self junk yards.

Oh and I have to...



That was my rear end last year... Just my opinion, but everyone should change all fluids the first day you buy your Jeep... Then you can avoid both our fates...

He probably has either the NP207J or the NP229 transfer case.
Edit: the NP207j goes with the 2.5 banger and the NP229 with the chevy 2.8 crap.
