Not leaking oil from pressure sending unit but the elbow
1988 Laredo with 4.0 and I'm leaking oil where the oil pressure sending unit elbow attaches to the engine, not the unit itself. what is this part called? can I just unscrew it and use some thread sealer on it? It seems to be on there pretty tight.

Oil pressure sending unit elbow sounds good to me. A small amount of sealer after cleaning the threads thoroughly would work well.

Engine: 4.7L Stroker w/ Edelbrock head, forged pistons & rods, roller rockers, BBK TB, Banks headers
I had the gasket go on my '00 XJ. It was leaking oil out at higher pressures and loads and was dripping onto the exhaust pipe causing white smoke out the back. Replaced it, cleaned the mount and it has never done it again.
