Default Not running right, engine codes

Hey all, so last night as I slowed down to turn on an on ramp, my mostly stock 2000 cherokee limited 4.0L (256 000 Miles) quit on me and when i tried to turn it over it cranked strong but no engine noise. I also noticed my temp reads 0 so I waited a bit and researched, tried it again and she turned over. I drove for a few and noticed my temp guage creeping up which scared me so I pull over, wait, check coolant (fine despite having a slow leak in my rad). I decide to go again and it turn over but dies when i put it in gear. My dad brought an obdII scanner and we got codes p0118, p1294, p1494, which are, engine coolant temp sensor circuit high, target idle speed not reached condition, EVAP leak detection pump pressure switch condition. I decided to try and drive hom, and I made it but i took it very easy and it was a bit sputtery. I have bigger injectors i think they are 25-26 lb hour if that matters. I also have a hissing sound comming from my engine bay but it has been like that since last winter. Right now I can't afford to have it diagnosed my a professional nor would I like to drive it again till I can get it fixed. Egine light is on but not flashing. Any advice on further diagnosing my issue? I do have a multimeter and I'm an electrician so I know the princibles of elec wiring. Might these codes be from the same issue or would they likely be seperate? What should I try first? Thanks in advance.

Update: I had 2 of 3 vacuum hoses on the intake that had come loose and fallen off. I put them back on and cleared my codes and it runs better then ever haha.. Hissing noise is gone I wish I would have found that last winter! One hose must have been making the hiss for months and the other one I'm guessing fell off recently just before my temp sensor stopped working and threw a code. I found this thanks to this jeepforum link below (post #8). My Jeep has also "hiccupped" as discribed in the forum.
