Yeahh guys, am just going to look around for any Cherokees that are running and they sell them to me for cheap, if not ill just go buy another engine at my junk yard.

Sure rebuilding or replacing with a reman is nice, but it is expensive and considering what the vehicle is worth, this option can get you upside down financially on that vehicle quickly.
I don't think most of us would ever get out what we have into our XJs anyway. LOL I would look at what I could get for it with a blown up mill compared to what I could get with it running with a newly rebuilt one. I did do a JY engine swap on a chevy LUV that I had and got another 50K miles if that says anything.

Whats fact do you have to support this?? The exhaust is setup on the opposite side of the intake

i did it. well it took skillful fab work. a lot of it
