Default NSS or Ignition switch?

XJ starts intermittently, It usually wont start in park but will in neutral if I move the shifter back and forth a bit.

When It doesnt, the starter does not turn, I can hear the fuel pump and I get dash lights.

Starter is new, and battery is good.

Sounds like the NSS ???

I found some good resources on rebuilding the NSS.

Thanks.

Most likely the NSS. Mine did the same exact thing. Either needs a rebuild or adjustment.

You can probably get away with just cleaning the nss. Be careful taking it out though, they break easy

Can it simply be bypassed? or is that bad?
