O2 sensor check engine light
I forget the codes exactly but I did a motor swap from my 96 xj
I got motor from a 95 grand cher
After getting everything hooked up and running for a bit the CE light came on about the O2 sensors but seeing as how they were fine before the swap and are now throwing the codes I wanted to know if anyone knows a different way to reset the CEL or if my unplugging the wired connection really did screw it up
Ive used an OBD scanner to reset as well as disconnecting the neg bat cable
Also having a similar issue in ny wifes rendezvous disconnected a plug that I didnt realize went to the O2 sensor when I changed her plugs and wires and thats throwing codes to
Any and all help is much appreciated

We need the exact codes to help you. There are many that are related to an oxygen sensor. With OBD, the devil is in the details.
And know that oxygen sensor related codes are NOT always the oxygen sensors themselves. The problem can be something like a vacuum leak, etc. that creates a condition where the oxygen sensors can't trim the mixture enough to resolve it.
