This is somewhere between idle curiosity and paranoid conspiracy theorist. Let's say the OP had electrical skilz but only looked at Sheet 20. He goes "Aha! I need to send an orange to F22-4!" However, once you do that you tie all kinds of things together including 7 connectors on the ECU.
Was up late putting it back together. Still have to put the grill back on. Started it and fan was rubbing on fan shroud so had to shut it down an pull it back with a bungy cord. Started it again and ran like crap. Low idle, running very rich and no manifold vacuum. Then noticed the MAP vac hose somehow got pulled off. Put that back on and restarted.
Results here. Doesn't go open/closed. Not sure if STFT is normal. And A/C works fine.
I would like to run the Rotella but have rear main seal leak.

Did you look at the mt2500 video I posted at the beginning of this thread, for comparison purposes? Much different compared to this last video. Then it did go open/closed till it warmed up and then stuck in open loop. STFT bounced around too and then stuck on 128, which is the base number... or neutral.
I read an article, cant seam to find it now, from the factory where it talked about after having service work done the customer would complain that it had drivability issues. And there was a procedure for the tech people to do in order for the computer to relearn.
I sent the video to Nich Risley at nickintimefilms (youtube), he said you don't want open loop because that is the unmetered mode. Closed loop is when it uses the o2 sensor to run just right, and should be the goal to hit. You're in closed loop, the o2 sensor is swinging enough for a rich/lean change, and your STFT is actually fairly good.
Yea, sick and tired of monkeying with the darn thing.

Right -- closed loop = good.
You want to erase the Adaptive Memory. I think it's this:

You probably had a little open loop but when things work correctly it's only for a very short time.

I found the one I mentioned. It is very similar.
