My failsafe is still gong well after 2 weeks of servitude. This morning was -11*, still got up to 205 with lackluster heat, but the old Mopar stat wouldn't have even let her up to 180*.

One thing that I did notice with my Stant Super stat, is that while it runs cooler (188-198 according to scan gauge II), it does seem to warm up faster than the previous Mopar stat (which was the old Mopar version). I also seem to get heat a little sooner.
I forgot that I currently have a high flow T-stat housing. Not sure if that does anything, but I will switch back to the stock one and see what the Stant does then. After seeing how it runs with that, if the temps are still cooler than normal I will try the Dealer Motorad.

I'm hoping to get my high flow unit in here soon, just gotta get the time. Biggest things holding me up is that I need to drill and tap a hole in the thermostat housing so that I can put a sensor in it for the electric fan I'm swapping in.

Why not just buy a new stat housing for a later model. already tapped.
