Default Off key draw to rear speakers, stock 2001 cherokee sport.

The rear speakers are crackling when I shut it off, can't find the fuse to disable the radio until I can trace it down, don't have the owners manual and the Haynes wiring diagrams don't help. Found the supposed power distribution diagram and interior fuse diagram on here but dosen't match up.
Just want to pull the dang fuse to the radio right now so I don't wake up to a dead battery.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Fuse 17 which should be a 15 amp in the junction box. Fuse box in the footwell.
In my '01 FSM it is described as Ignition Switch Output (Run-ACC).
Pretty sure the ACC means accessory.
I only bring it up cause I wonder if other stuff you need to drive the Jeep might also be
part of that. If it is just for the radio why wouldn't you just say that. LOL.
So I would just put it back in before you start the Jeep to be safe.

http://www.lunghd.com/Tech_Articles/...tification.htm

That lists 17 for the radio only. It lists the radio for 16 as well, but most of whats there is lighting, so it may be radio illumination only. It also lists the TCM, so if its an auto, youre going to want that fuse there.

Wonder why the FSM does not list them like in that link.
