Off road light hook up - HELP!
Hey guys...just got some maxtel 100W off road lights for my 90 cherokee. Just wondering if i can wire them into the factory connectors or not. The new lights have a black (ground i assume) and and white (power i assume) wire coming out of the housing - can i splice them into the factory driving light connector? If so...which color wire on the factory harness is hot and which is ground?
Thanks!
Thanks!

The one with 12v when the switch is on is hot, the one with no power is ground. the stock circut is NOT rated for 100w lights. Add a relay to the circut, use could use the Fog circut as the switch to the relay, power the lights thru the relay directly from the battery.

X3 on the relay set up. It's a good idea to run them as seperate circuits anyway, for if you were to have a malfunction in one set you will still have another set. I currently run four aux lights on the front, 2 for driving and 2 for fog, both of which are seperate circuits. Hasn't failed me yet.
