Just for the hell of it here's some more brown goop for you.
Anytime I have to deal with something that bad I replace everything that's replaceable.
Flush it several times and the replace the radiator, thermostat, hoses and water pump. While it's apart I back flush the heater core.
Put all back together and flush it a couple more times.
Top her off and drive it.

+1. I would have simply bought a new radiator. Pays for itself with the time you saved screwing around with flushing it constantly. If you've already go the part removed, you might as well replace it with new. The real cost is the labor, not the part. Just replace the entire cooling system if you plan on keeping the car.

Plus, you still have to flush it multiple times to clean crud out of parts that aren't exactly replaceable.

remove radiator. flush outside the vehicle.
disconnect heater core hoses from Tstat. flush.
remove Tstat reinstall housing. spray water in the inlet and let it blast out the outlet while the engine is running.
flush hoses.
remove reservoir and flush.
do these until brown goop is gone. I think some guys are making it too complicated.

Latest update:
I let my mom borrow my Jeep to visit my sister across the state while she was in town. Marshmallow overheated and blew up in the middle of Florida, leaving my poor mom stranded.
Marshmallow (and mom!) was towed home 130 miles on the back of a truck.
My best advice to everyone is to change your radiator fluid often!
The new Golen 4.6 that's in there now wont suffer the same fate.

You shouldn't have to change radiator fluid often. Flush it when it needs and don't when it don't. You had another issue.
