Also I noticed you said you ran cast edge? Was that the with titanium or the regular synthetic? We used to sell the hell out of the titanium. Just curious if you had any problems?

Your rig. Your wallet. Just dont fall for the advertisement. I feel like its over priced, over advertised, and the overall product is not worth the extra change. But thats my own personal opinion. I managed a quick lube shop for quite awhile and now know how a decent pitch, some pretty colors, and anything with the word racing on it sells itself no matter how it performs. *personal opinion* I had a long term customer running mobil 1 in his wrangler since day one. Started b.s.ing one day and asked why HE switched to another brand he explained he had an oil analyse done the last few oil changes and explained the mobil one was doing worse than a different cheaper brand. *he didnt get in depth about it* also in my drag, drift or modified cars I wasnt very fond of m1 oil temps were higher than other oils *I know a lot of factors could effect that* and a few other things I just didnt care for.

I really don't see how synthetic oils are such a controversy down there anyway. What you pay for synthetic we pay for conventional... geeez what a bunch of whiners! :P

I run Mobil 1 5W-20 year round in le Heep with a Purolator, Mobil 1, Wix, Bosch, or Napa Gold filter. The 5-quart jugs of M1 are $25 at Wally-World. The 5W-20 gets me 24 mpg and it is much cleaner at oil changes than it used to be when I was using Penn conventional or Valvoline MaxLife syn blend with the same oil filters.
