Default Oil pan leak

Just did my rear main on the 93. Rear main seemed to go ok however the oil pan gasket is giving me nothing but problems. On the rear on the rear of the pan right at the apex of the dip no matter what I do, as I tighten the bolts the gasket comes out. I took it back out and found that there seems like the gasket was manufactured too long in this area as it will not sit flush. I did my best to get it in there but it leaks like a sieve. Should I try another gasket or just RTV it and move on? I’ve had the pan out 3 times in the last 2 days and would like the next time to be the last… at least until something else goes wrong lol

edit: felpro gasket. Used rtv only on the dips that go around the crank.
