Oil peresure gauge not working

Always post year/engine when you start a thread.
Could be the oil pressure sending unit (above oil filter) the gauge itself in your dash, or the wiring.
But most likely is the sending unit. As it is a common failure and not that expensive, I'd consider starting with that. I buy MOPAR for that sensor. Best for reliability/accuracy/mating with your factory gauge.

So when was day one for you? I hope you had at least sóme pressure all that time you were staring at a dead gauge...
I'd verify with a mechanical gauge to have an idea where your pressure is at the moment since you have no idea how good or bad it actually is.
And then, like TJ suggested, check out a new pressure sending unit if you indeed have decent pressure.

Id say if you've been driving this long you gotta have pressure or motor woulda blown by now ! You know where oil filters at ?
