If the pump you bought came with a pickup screen it must have been the high volume pump...correct? And you installed the pickup screen on the pump...right?
And the oil pan you bought was designed for the high volume pump...right? Or was it a standard oil pan?

I just looked at the local Autozone web catalog and they show two pumps. Both Melling (good pumps). One is a standard pump, sold without a pick up screen and the other is a high volume pump that comes with a pickup screen, but not attached.
If the pump you bought came with a pickup screen it must have been the high volume pump...correct? And you installed the pickup screen on the pump...right?
And the oil pan you bought was designed for the high volume pump...right? Or was it a standard oil pan?
